Privacy Policy
Overview
Spavo helps you run a recurring game night as a real, ongoing league instead of a one-off hangout. Hosts schedule game nights and invite their group, players RSVP and see who's in, scores sync live across everyone's phone as the night happens, and season-long standings keep track of who's on top. Spavo currently supports poker, spades, dominoes, and bunco, with more games on the way. Players always join for free — only hosts have a subscription.
Information We Collect
When you create an account or use Spavo, we collect:
- Name, phone number, email address, username, and password
- Contact preferences and contact authentication data (e.g., for SMS or email verification)
- Payment app usernames (e.g., your Venmo handle), used only to generate a payment link between you and other players — never a payment credential
- Profile photos, if you choose to add one
- Game and league activity — scores, standings, schedules, and RSVPs
Information We Do Not Collect
- Biometric data — Face ID / Touch ID, if used, is handled entirely by your device's operating system. Spavo never receives or stores biometric data.
- Financial account information — Spavo stores payment app usernames only, never card numbers, bank details, or payment credentials.
Social Login
Spavo currently supports email and phone-based sign-in.
How We Use Information
We use your information to operate your account, run league scheduling and live scoring, calculate settlements, send notifications you've opted into, and maintain the security of the platform.

We share information with the service providers (subprocessors) that help us run Spavo:

Children's Privacy
Spavo is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your Rights
You can update your account information at any time within the app. You can delete your account and associated data within the app or by contacting support@spavo.app.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period after deletion as needed to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email before they take effect.
